John is a Manager at Empire Valuation Consultants, where he has worked since 2011, and a Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) Charterholder.
John has prepared and overseen a wide variety of valuation engagements for hedge funds, private equity firms, mutual funds, publicly traded companies and closely held companies. His experience includes valuations of real estate investments, fixed income and asset-backed securities, derivatives, intangible assets, common and preferred equity and other types of equity interests across a variety of industries and global locations.
John also has experience working with clients to meet their financial reporting requirements under Stock Compensation (ASC 718), Business Combinations (ASC 805), Property, Plant and Equipment (ASC 360) and Impairment and Disposal of Long-Lived Assets (ASC 360-10). He has also prepared valuations for estate and gift tax reporting, lending, stock option granting (IRC 409A) and other corporate planning and reporting purposes.
Prior to joining Empire, John was employed at Xerox Corporation and Intertek Group, plc, where his responsibilities focused on the development and analysis of the annual research and development plan, and evaluating the safety of consumer electronics, respectively.
