Empire Valuation Consultants, LLC is seeking Valuation Associate candidates for its Rochester, New York office. This individual will possess a bachelor’s degree plus a graduate degree, preferably an MBA in Finance. Work experience of three or more years in a financial capacity (e.g., accountant, financial analyst, credit analyst, investment banker) is a strong positive. Must be able to communicate effectively with other professionals (i.e., attorneys, accountants, financial advisors), as well as with all levels of company management.

The Valuation Associate will be responsible for applying the concepts of corporate finance and valuation to privately held companies, restricted stock, options and warrants, intangible assets, intellectual property, and debt instruments. Associates will prepare a detailed valuation report, documenting their analysis and conclusions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must.
