David is a Senior Manager at Empire Valuation Consultants, where he has worked since 2005.
He has been involved in the valuations of a variety of debt and fixed income securities, real estate, derivative instruments, intangible assets, equity interests and bankruptcy and trade claims across a variety of industries and global locations for diverse purposes. He has worked with major private equity firms, hedge funds, publicly traded companies and closely held companies.
David's valuation experience includes alternative asset portfolio valuation reporting, financial and Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) reporting, [including Accounting for Stock-Based Compensation (ASC 718), Stock Compensation (ASC 805), Goodwill and Other Intangible Assets (ASC 350-20), Impairment and Disposal of Long-Lived Assets (ASC 360-10) and Fair Value Measurements (ASC 820)], litigation, estate and gift tax reporting, matrimonial matters, employee stock ownership plan (ESOP) formation and administration, stock option granting (IRC 409A), lending and other corporate planning purposes.
Prior to joining Empire, David worked in the retail and commercial segments of the banking industry through his employment with Lyons National Bank. While there, he served in numerous capacities, most recently as a commercial credit analyst and bank officer, where he was responsible for underwriting, analyzing and evaluating the creditworthiness of companies from a broad range of industries.
