Scott is a Senior Manager at Empire Valuation Consultants in Charlotte, North Carolina. He has over 15 years of business valuation experience.

Scott’s experience includes working with publicly traded companies and closely held companies, as well as private equity firms and hedge funds, and has been involved in numerous valuations related to debt and fixed income securities, intangible assets, and equity interests across a variety of industries and worldwide locations.

Scott’s expertise includes preparing valuations for the purposes of fair value measurements (ASC 820), business combinations (ASC 805), stock compensation (ASC 718), and intangibles - goodwill and others (ASC 350), leases (ASC 842), financial reporting and SEC reporting, fairness opinions, corporate strategy, M&A, ESOP and estate and gift tax purposes. Additionally, Scott assists his clients on ad hoc consulting projects.

Scott’s valuation experience encompasses a diverse array of industries, including professional sport teams, ski resort companies, life sciences, manufacturing, hospitality, consumer products, technology, and alternative assets among others.

Prior to rejoining Empire, Scott worked as a Senior Manager with BDO in their Corporate Finance/Valuation & Business Analytics practice and as Manager for Ernst & Young in their Strategy & Transaction practice both in Charlotte, NC.
